TL/ DR – Easy Grilled Chicken Tenders. This is a simple, quick go-to for any meal or meal prep. This recipe uses a simple marinade of buttermilk and pre-made chicken seasoning. –
I use a gallon plastic zip seal bag, but I’m trying to get away from that and recently I’ve re-used produce bags with success. (This is slightly less gross than using them to pick up dog poo.) Just make sure to place the bag in a pie dish or a baking dish while marinating in case of leaks.
Combine the marinade ingredients and marinate for an hour up to a whole day. Shake off the the majority of the marinade from each tender before putting it on a hot grill. Depending on the size of the chicken tender, (some of them are frighteningly large,) they really only take about 4 minutes per side. This is one of my favorite things about tenders.
The picky eaters insist on covering them with ketchup, but they are fine with no sauce and served with some Lemony Garlicky Broccoli and Roasted Potatoes. If sauce is desired, try this easy Breadless Romesco Sauce.
