Orange Spice Fizz

Orange Spice Fizz

This fizzy drink is refreshing any time of year. As the name Orange Spice Fizz suggests, it has a gingery bite that is not too overwhelming paired with fresh orange juice. Turmeric also figures in, but is not detectable.

Turmeric is helpful for sore joints. It adds vibrant color to this drink without overpowering the flavor.

Ginger is known for helping with nausea, inflammation and for boosting immunity. I like its zippy, spicy flavor.

The recipe calls for a tablespoon of agave nectar or coconut sugar, but the drink is just as delicious and refreshing without the added sweetener. Try it as a nice compliment to Lentil Hamburger Sliders.
